As a child, she always loved her visits to the dentist, especially getting her teeth cleaned! She eventually decided she’d be honored to be the one to provide this service for patients. Chelsey truly enjoys helping people of all ages. She loves getting to know them personally and learning how to friendly help them maintain or improve their oral hygiene. In the community, Chelsey is a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Church. Her hobbies include crocheting, running, and spending time with her husband Bo, son Gabriel, daughter Emyrsen, and dog Griffin.

Brandy is originally from New Lexington, Ohio, but she and her family now live in Bremen. She attended Eastland Career Center for dental assisting, graduated in 2009, and has been with Dr. May ever since. Brandy takes pride in comforting patients by getting to know them and hearing about their interests. She has an easy time making connections with people that can last beyond the dental appointment. She also enjoys being a part of a team of great co-workers. Brandy has many hobbies, some of which are yoga, reading, crafting, taking care of her dog and cats, and spending quality time with her smart and active son, Marcus.

Debra Howdyshell Dental Hygienist Logan Office

Debra has been a lifelong resident of Logan, Ohio. She earned her associate degree from Scioto Tech College, and has over forty years of experience in dental hygiene. Through education and clinical work, she takes pleasure in helping people maintain a healthy mouth. Debra is the current president of the Hocking Valley Dental Hygienist Association and also serves as a delegate. Her hobbies include bicycling as a member of the Hocking Hills Bicycle Club, as well as bird watching, hiking, and reading. She enjoys the wonderful cooking of her partner Maria and spending time with her great-nieces Ella and Natalie, as well as her three cats.

Tracey hails from Anaheim, California, but currently resides in McArthur, Ohio. She received her degree from Shawnee State University and has been a dental hygienist for twenty-three years. Growing up, Tracey knew she loved science, and her childhood dentist encouraged her to pursue the field. More than the science aspect, though, she loves the interpersonal part of her job experience: getting to know, help, and spend time with patients. Tracey is an active member of her church, where she participates heavily in the Sunday school program. She enjoys having fun at concerts and watching her son play sports. Tracey likes to spend time with her family and friends, especially her husband, J.D., her daughters Emily and Katey, son Asher, and her three grandkids Paisley, Gwen, and Mylah.

Mary is originally from Bradenton, Florida, where she earned an associate degree and married Dwight, a Logan native. After moving to Ohio, she originally worked in human resources, but is now working as a dental office manager and has been for fifteen years. Mary has been a member of the National Guard, has organized events to promote heart health, was a United Way trustee, and is a current member of the Kline Memorial Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loves reading and travel, and enjoys her six great-grandchildren, six grandchildren, stepsons Jeff, Robert, and Troy, son, Wayne, and daughter Kathy.
